Ssamba Foundation, founded in 2006 by Hon Isaac Ssamba, has the vision to help those least able to help themselves. Ssamba Foundation is a community based humanitarian service and rural development organization located in Kyampisi Sub-county, Mukono district of Uganda. To achieve this vision of helping those least able to help themselves, we focus on a variety of programs in communities of Mukono district, including education, micro-finance and small business support, job skills or leadership development and training, health, environment, and more. We see a future in which Uganda has realized its extensive human and resource potential and, through training, investment, and partnerships, we can help Uganda achieve this vision. We develop and operate programs that contribute to the welfare and social productivity of disadvantaged individuals and communities with a focus on children, women and youth. We address some of the most pervasive problems in rural Uganda, including HIV/AIDS, malaria, hunger, education, poverty, access to clean drinking water, and orphaned children. We also focus on empowering the youth of Uganda with different skills and leadership training.
